Newdawn is opening a physical store in Kano State. We are hiring a State Coordinator to run it, build local relationships and deliver solar, electrical and automation projects across the north.
Newdawn Automation Limited is opening a physical store in Kano State. It is a milestone for us: for years we have delivered projects nationwide from Auchi, and the north has been the part of the country we could serve least well from a distance.
A store changes that. Stock on the ground, a workshop, and a team that knows the local market.
The role: State Coordinator, Kano
We are looking for someone to lead operations in Kano — someone who can run a store, hold relationships with businesses and government, and keep projects moving.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and manage the new Kano store.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and government entities.
- Coordinate solar, electrical and automation projects across the state.
- Run our training programmes to develop local talent.
- Ensure compliance with company policy and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy or a related field.
- At least five years in the energy or automation sector.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Hausa and English.
- Working knowledge of the Kano market and business environment.
